Marriage License Info

Obtaining a marriage license in Hawaii is a simple and stress free process. All you need is $65.00, cash or credit card excepted, and a valid photo ID or drivers license. Make sure not to pay and fill it out unless you are less than 30 days before marriage. You will need valid unexpired drivers license or unexpired passport.

Hawaii does not require that a blood test be taken or that witnesses be present. Once a Hawaii marriage license is obtained the ceremony can take place immediately.

• Important - According to the State of Hawaii Department of Health Vital Records Division the marriage license expires 30 days from and including the date of issuance, after which it automatically becomes null and void.
